Every day I receive positive comments re. my recently published book. I have heard from cooking school students from 25 years ago and they still rave on about Cuisine de Barbara, my cooking school from 1978-80. The book isn't what they were expecting when everyone said I should do a cook book. The Accidental Baker: a cake for every crisis is not really a cook book  but a memoir-ish accounting of my struggle to survive a major life crisis. Food and recipes are woven into the framework because that is my life. How I rose to finally become financially successful and independent is the theme. I will continue to send present day happenings. I still bake bread almost every week and fresh cookies are always in the pantry. You can see that is still in my DNA. My writer friends at NDYGirls Publishing  are a fun group, comic relief and serious too. We have banded together to give each other support in publishing.
More as I do it.
